COMMUNITY MODERATOR

At the Voise Foundation, we strive to cultivate a respectful, informative, and inclusive environment within our online community. As our Community Moderator, you’ll play an essential role in fostering this environment. Key Responsibilities

1. Moderation

As a Community Moderator, your primary role will be to monitor and guide the conversations within our online forums and platforms. This includes:

  • Facilitating respectful and informative discussions.
  • Monitoring user-generated content to ensure it aligns with our community guidelines.
  • Managing conflicts or issues that may arise within the community.

2. Community Engagement

Part of your role will involve fostering an active, engaged community. This involves:

  • Encouraging active participation from community members.
  • Responding to comments, questions, and feedback in a timely and respectful manner.

3. Content Monitoring

Ensuring the appropriateness of user-generated content is a critical aspect of this role. This includes:

  • Reviewing user-generated content for adherence to community guidelines and standards.
  • Taking appropriate action to handle any violations of these guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role has strong communication skills, excellent judgement, and experience in community moderation or management. A commitment to fostering respectful, inclusive online spaces is paramount, as is a familiarity with our mission and goals.
