As our Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing our volunteer program, ensuring volunteers are supported, appreciated, and able to contribute effectively. 1. Volunteer Recruitment and Onboarding
As the Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for recruiting and onboarding volunteers. This includes:
- Identifying volunteer needs and posting volunteer opportunities.
- Conducting volunteer interviews and overseeing the onboarding process.
2. Volunteer Supervision and Support
Your role will also involve providing guidance and support to our volunteers. This involves:
- Offering supervision, support, and feedback to volunteers.
- Collaborating with our team to ensure volunteers have the resources and guidance they need.
3. Volunteer Records and Appreciation
Maintaining volunteer records and recognizing their contributions is a crucial part of this role. This includes:
- Keeping accurate volunteer records, including contact information, hours, and roles.
- Coordinating volunteer appreciation activities to acknowledge and thank our volunteers for their efforts.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role is organized, excellent at managing people, and has previous experience in volunteer management or a similar role. A strong commitment to creating a positive volunteer experience and fostering a vibrant volunteer community is essential.
