At the Voise Foundation, fundraising is a key aspect of our mission. As our Fundraising and Grant Writer, you’ll play an essential role in securing resources to help us make a difference. If you have a knack for persuasive writing, a keen eye for opportunities, and a passion for our cause, this role could be an excellent fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fundraising Initiatives
As part of this role, you’ll assist with the planning and execution of our fundraising initiatives. This includes:
- Helping to organize fundraising events and campaigns.
- Writing compelling fundraising letters and donor appeals.
- Collaborating with the team to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
2. Grant Writing
A major part of your role will involve identifying and applying for potential funding sources. This involves:
- Researching potential funding opportunities, including grants and sponsorships.
- Writing and submitting detailed, compelling grant proposals.
- Following up on applications and maintaining communication with potential funders.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role is a persuasive writer with a keen eye for detail and a proven ability to secure funding. Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or a related role is highly beneficial. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about our mission and committed to helping us secure the resources we need to make a difference.
