As our Translator, you’ll play a crucial role in making our programs and initiatives understandable and accessible to non-English speakers. If you are fluent in one or more languages and have a passion for breaking down language barriers, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Translation
In this role, you’ll be responsible for translating our program content into different languages. This includes:
- Translating video subtitles, episode summaries, social media posts, and other content.
- Ensuring translations are not just accurate, but also culturally appropriate and sensitive.
- Collaborating with our team to maintain consistent messaging and quality standards.
2. Timely Delivery
As part of a fast-paced organization, meeting deadlines is crucial. This involves:
- Managing your workload efficiently to ensure timely delivery of translations.
- Collaborating closely with the team to meet production timelines.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role is fluent in at least one language other than English, has experience in translation, and possesses a keen attention to detail. Cultural sensitivity and understanding are paramount, as well as an ability to maintain the context and tone of the original content.
